why can’t I, a 13 yr. old, get an account

Filed on Wednesday, March 24th, 2010

Why aren’t kids allowed to have an account on something as big as youtube? We always have to live a lie about our age because we’re only 13. Most of the accounts have to be 18 yrs. or older to do this or do that. Same goes with commercials. It always says quote: “Must be 18 years or older to order.” Since I’m a kid, does that make me a bad person? NO! It doesn’t. Some kids that are smart like me can actually can be good with some of this stuff. All I’m saying is, I want an account on big things when I’m 13.

  1. lol – you’ll understand when you’re older. If you really want a youtube account, lie about the age.

  2. Hey now, everyone on this planet including myself has been 13. Don’t grow up too fast and miss the best times of your life homie

  3. It’s because of the federal law and for “your safety”.

When you have a friend abducted or raped by an online predator, you might think differently. Even if you say you’re intelligent and wouldn’t do those things, honey, we were all there as kids, and I think I was probably one of the biggest idiots, even after I said I wouldn’t be.
